Exciting Book Fair comes to Humphrey Perkins

Taking place in our iconic Hogwarts-inspired library, the Book Fair lasted for seven days and encouraged our Key Stage 3 and 4 students to purchase new books for their shelves.

They had the opportunity to browse through the catalogue of texts during both their English lessons and at break and lunchtimes. Among the most popular choices were Five Nights at Freddy’s, Cobweb, Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Good Girls Guide to Murder. These were so popular, they had to be ordered in twice!

Over the course of the week, Humphrey Perkins raised over £1600 from book sales. Consequently, Scholastic rewarded us with £988 to re-stock our school library with new books.

We look forwarded to welcoming the Book Fair back into our school in the summer!
