A week of fun and adventure in Austria

Over the Easter holidays, 80 students from Years 8, 9 and 10, along with 9 dedicated staff members, embarked on an unforgettable ski trip to the picturesque slopes of Hochfügen in the Ziller Valley, Austria.

After an early start, the group drove down by coach to Dover, before catching a ferry to Calais and making their way to the Alpin Centre Hochfügen. Upon arrival, staff and students wasted no time in getting their ski gear fitted, settling into their new surroundings and whizzing down the slopes with speed and gusto, tackling the gradients with resilience and enthusiasm.

In the evenings, the students enjoyed some well-deserved downtime. They played games of bowling, explored the picturesque scenes of the local village and took a refreshing dip in the swimming pool.

A huge thanks to our dedicated Humphrey Perkins staff, including Mr Swain, Mr Rofe, Mr Matts, Mr Webb, Miss Mee, Mr Bromley and Mr Cross, with special thanks to Miss Marlow from Newbridge and Miss Hinchliffe from Castle Rock for their invaluable support.

The week left students with memories to cherish for a lifetime and had them eagerly awaiting their next adventure.
