Humphrey Perkins' Students Achieve Remarkable Record of GCSE Results

Students at Humphrey Perkins have recorded some exceptional GCSE results. Our 160 Year 11 students, worked incredibly hard throughout the examination period and were duly rewarded.

The standard pass rate – those who achieved a grade 4 or above - across the year was 62.5%, whilst the strong pass rate (grade 5 and above) stood at 42%, an amazing achievement.

55% of our students achieved at least one grade 7, 8 or 9, whilst 12 pupils acquired a grade 7 average across all the subjects they took.

Additionally, the Science Faculty were thrilled to report an exceptional collection of results in Biology. With an average grade of 7 across the board, it was among the most successful subjects for the year.

Meanwhile, with a mark of 0.84, Sports Studies returned the highest Subject Progress Index result of the academic year.

Associate Principal, Della Bartram said: “We are delighted to announce our best ever set of results. Last year's Year 11 were a delight - they worked incredibly hard and embodied the Humphrey Perkins ethos of being the ‘best they could be. We wish them every success in the future.”

Whether our students are going on to study A-Levels at Sixth Form or take up local apprenticeships, we wish them well on their next step and commend them for their outstanding collection of results this year.

Well done!
